You can start off by visiting the "The Cheese Shop" that offers a variety of imported and domestic cheeses, gruyere fondue and cured meats. After this, move along to mussels, prawn cocktail, steamed clams, and fresh Dungeness crab. Savor filet of beef, potatoes au gratin, slow roasted pork, and seasonal vegetables, followed by garlic bread and butternut squash ravioli at "The Pasta Shop". Once done, finish it all off with a range of desserts at "The Bakery".

Swiftwater Café

Swiftwater Café offers Christmas buffet that can be enjoyed as early dinner or lunch from 12pm - 5pm.

Spiedo is located at 223 Fourth Avenue and offers authentic Italian cuisine. They also have a special holiday menu that features their most popular grilled and rotisserie items and specialty pasta and pizza dishes.

Siam Orchid

The place offers Thai cuisine made out of organic ingredients. Also, for those who don’t want to leave the comfort of their home, the restaurant offers online ordering facility. You can order online from their menu to enjoy the exotic tastes in your own dining room.

The place boasts of a holiday menu that can spice up anybody’s month: a 3-course menu for just $58.00 that includes options like goan lobster, warm shrimp and arugula salad, chicken musallam, pumpkin eischeri, roasted eggplant crush, ginger gelato and chocolate cake, and more. A complimentary passion fruit lassi or an alcoholic drink is also offered. This menu runs the whole December, apart from their regular menu offerings.

B Street and Vine

If you’re looking for Italian then this place is certainly one of the best in San Mateo. Its yummy bruschetta on toasted acme bread is sure to tantalize your senses. Apart from this, the extensive wine list and scrumptious salads add to the attractiveness of the menu.

Attic

Attic (234 S B St) is a restaurant that offers Filipino and Asian fusion. Apart from the impressive list of dishes the drink menu is also pretty attractive. This place is sure to fascinate those who like to experiment with their food.
San Mateo is full of different restaurants that offer a variety of cuisines from across the globe. There is no dearth of Asian, Indian, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern eateries, spread across the county. So when planning your dinner/lunch this Christmas you can get as experimental as you want! San Mateo will cater to all your needs. In fact the county also takes exceptional care of the transportation. For instance, people with disabilities can get non-medical transportation vans especially designed to keep them safe and comfortable during their journey from their residence to restaurant and back. These vans are available twenty four hours a day.
